Így az összes egyházatyákat, akik az igazság ügyét hirdetik a hívőknek, teljes joggal Isten angyalainak kell tartanunk. De eszerint az ördög sincs angyalok nélkül, amennyiben minden hitehagyott őt követi angyalaként. Ne kételkedj abban, hogy az összes eretnekek a sátán angyalai, akiknek a seregét eszméjük szerint tegnap már részben előszámláltam. Tehát mindenki, aki Isten egyházában másként gondolkodik, mint ahogyan gondolkodnia kell, az ördög angyala. Meg vannak tehát különböztetve az igazság angyalai a hamisság angyalaitól.

Thus, all the Church Fathers who proclaim the cause of truth to the faithful must rightfully be regarded as angels of God. But by this reasoning, the devil is not without his angels either, since every apostate follows him as an angel. Do not doubt that all heretics are the angels of the devil, whose army—as I partly recounted yesterday—is assembled according to their own ideas. Therefore, everyone in the Church of God who thinks differently than they ought to think is an angel of the devil. Thus, the angels of truth are distinguished from the angels of falsehood.
